Captain Eudora’s Hero Power gives you a shortcut to golden minions. After you have used the Hero Power five times, you receive a random golden minion from your Tavern Tier or lower. The golden minion is added to your hand, so when you play it, you get the usual higher-tier discover as you do with regular golden minions.

  • Hero Power Hero Powers are unique abilities, specific to each class. While most classes spend 2 mana on their hero power, the Demon Hunter only spends 1. Demon Claws, the class’s Hero Power, is a one mana-cost boost to the Demon Hunter’s Attack, designed around robust synergies with its class cards.

  • In Greek mythology, the Golden Fleece is the fleece of the golden-woolled, winged ram, Chrysomallos, which was held in Colchis. The fleece is a symbol of authority and kingship. It figures in the tale of the hero Jason and his crew of Argonauts, who set out on a quest for the fleece by order of King Pelias, in order to place Jason rightfully on the throne of Iolcus in Thessaly. Through the help of Medea, they acquire the Golden Fleece. The story is of great antiquity and was current in the time.

This guide will help you find all the collectibles in the game ( Maybe I missed some of them, but I got enough to get all the achievements). The collectibles are very easy to spot, but you may miss some of them.

General Info

Following this guide you will be able to get these achievements. There are 8 items to be collected:

  • S (Green) - Shells.
  • E (White) - Eggs.
  • P (White) - Pearls.
  • T (Yellow) - Treasures.
  • * (Yellow) - Golden Starfish.

Clarification on the new Notes:

  • In order the get the collectibles you'll have the learn the skill from a quest thas is always about helping someone in the game.
  • After learning the related skill the collectibles will appear in the map in every scenario. So after learning, go back to the places available to get them.
  • Some collectibles will appear after some action, for example, you have to kill an enemy in the scenario and some crate will appear behind him.
  • If the screenshot shows that a place has a collectible and you can't see it, try doing something around, or come back later.

Hint:

  • Download all the images in your PC, this way you can edit the images using Paint (or some sofware you like most).
  • For each collectible you find, mark in the images so you know the ones you are missing.
  • You'll have to visit each scenario many times because some collectibles will only appear after learning the skill to find them. so with this hint, you can easily track the progress.

Notes[editedit source]

  • This card's Battlecry replaces your current basicHero Power with the corresponding upgraded Hero Power (see Player Hero Powers for details). In particular:
  • This card's effect only replaces one of the ten basic Hero Powers.[1] If the player has an alternative Hero Power or already has an upgraded Hero Power, this card will have no effect.[2]
Example: Suppose a player with DIE, INSECT! uses that Hero Power and then plays Justicar Trueheart. Since DIE, INSECT! is not a basic Hero Power, Justicar Trueheart will have no effect: DIE, INSECT! will not be replaced nor refreshed for that turn.
  • This effect will replace a basic Hero Power with its upgraded version even if it was not the Hero Power the player started the game with.
Golden Hero Power
Example: A hunter with the Armor Up! Hero Power obtained through Sir Finley Mrrgglton plays Justicar Trueheart. The Hero Power will be upgraded to Tank Up!, not Ballista Shot.
  • As usual, replacing your Hero Power will refresh it, allowing the new Hero Power to be used on that same turn if mana allows.
Example: A player with enough mana can use a basic Hero Power, play Justicar Trueheart and then use the upgraded Hero Power, all in one turn.[3]
  • As usual, the replacement effect is permanent and cannot be cancelled by removing or silencing Justicar Trueheart.[4]
  • If Justicar Trueheart is golden, the new Hero Power will also be golden.[5] If Justicar Trueheart is non-golden, the new Hero Power will be non-golden if the old one was non-golden (even if the hero itself is golden) [6], and will be golden if the old one was golden.[verification requested]
Ballista Shot
  • The damage dealt by Ballista Shot can be increased as usual by Prophet Velen and Fallen Hero.
  • Steamwheedle Sniper and Dwarven Sharpshooter specifically modify Ballista Shot, allowing the power to target any character except for the hero using it.
Fireblast Rank 2
  • The damage dealt by Fireblast Rank 2 can be increased as usual by Prophet Velen and Fallen Hero.
Heal
  • The Health restored by Heal can be doubled as usual by Prophet Velen.
  • When used with Auchenai Soulpriest or Embrace the Shadow, Heal will instead deal 4 damage to target character. The damage dealt can also be increased as usual by Prophet Velen and Fallen Hero.
Poisoned Daggers
  • An equipped Poisoned Blade specifically modifies Poisoned Daggers, preventing it from equipping a Poisoned Dagger: instead, Poisoned Blade will trigger in the subsequent Inspire Phase granting +1 Attack to itself.[7]
Totemic Slam
  • Totemic Slam allows you to choose one of the four basic Totems that can be summoned by the basic Hero Power Totemic Call - Healing Totem, Stoneclaw Totem, Wrath of Air Totem and Searing Totem - and summons it.
  • As with Totemic Call, Totems other than the four basic ones cannot be summoned by Totemic Slam. However, you can choose which basic Totem to summon, bypassing the randomness of Totemic Call.
  • Unlike Totemic Call, Totemic Slam can be used to summon a basic Totem you already have on the board.[8]
  • The selection interface for choosing which basic Totem to summon resembles that of Tracking, Choose One and Discover effects.
  • Totemic Slam activate Combo effects.[9]
Soul Tap
  • Wilfred Fizzlebang's ongoing effect specifically modifies Soul Tap by making it also set the mana cost of cards it draws to 0.

Strategy[editedit source]

This is a strong card for control decks. By improving the base Hero Power for the rest of the match you can take advantage of the Hero Power it provides each turn after you play it. For Inspire decks this may improve further if they have Garrison Commander. The downside is you take a tempo loss by playing this card due to its 3 Health. More often than not, your enemy will have an easy time destroying it.

Specific examples include:

  • Justicar Trueheart is very powerful in Control Warrior decks, where Tank Up! can render the warrior almost invincible, as well as enabling extremely powerful Shield Slams.
  • The Silver Hand can be effective in paladin decks revolving around Silver Hand Recruit synergy, specifically Quartermaster and Warhorse Trainer. The threat of these combos will force your opponent to waste attacks and removal on multiple Recruits per turn, exerting great pressure on the board. Also, similar to Argent Squire, it exerts a tiny amount of pressure that is extremely difficult to deal with using a single card, exceptions include area of effect removal and minions with Taunt that have more than 1 Health.
  • Priests can unlock Heal via Justicar Trueheart. This can greatly prolong the lives of both the priest's minions and the priest himself. Auchenai Soulpriest also becomes immensely strong to combo with Heal, providing 4 damage for just 2 mana a turn.
  • Shamans can benefit from the flexibility Totemic Slam provides them, whether by drawing out the game further by summoning one Stoneclaw Totem after another or by summoning a Wrath of Air Totem when you're one damage short of killing a minion with a spell. However, it's much better to add Justicar Trueheart in a deck that utilizes Totem synergy heavily than one without.
  • Justicar Trueheart is far less effective on other classes since your Hero Power isn't going to get that much value or have significant impact by the time you play her, even on Inspire decks.

She can be found in the western portion of the Argent Tournament Grounds inside the Argent Pavilion. Patch changes[editedit source]

  • Unknown patch between Patch 2.7.0.9166 and Patch 8.0.4.18792: Golden heroes used to always gain golden Hero Powers from Justicar Trueheart, even if Justicar Trueheart was not golden.[10] This was an exception to the usual rules for golden Hero Powers, and it may have been because the card conceptually 'upgrades' the Hero Power. Now, if the hero is golden by its Hero Power is not, non-golden Justicar Trueheart gives a non-golden upgraded Hero Power.

Patch 3.0.0.9786 (2015-08-18): Added.
